The laser adopts Q-switch nanosecond pulse technology. The ultra-short pulse duration matches the thermal relaxation time of pigment particles. Laser energy is selectively absorbed by melanin or tattoo ink, generating photomechanical shockwave to smash large pigment clusters into tiny fine fragments, instead of burning skin by continuous heat. Healthy skin absorbs little energy and stays protected. Macrophages in the skin will swallow and drain broken pigment particles gradually in the following weeks, fading spots and tattoos progressively after sessions.
